Locals specializes in flight tastings, which allow you to parallel taste 5 pinots or 6 Zinfandels for example, all made by different local winemakers. The experience is not only fun, but also gives you a fast education in the particular preferences of your own palate. In one relaxing and spirited stop, you can learn more than you usually do in an entire wine country vacation. No longer do you need to drive from winery to winery to try your favorite varietals, all too often leaving behind a wine only to later find it was the best of the day. Frequently, you only vaguely remember what you liked about that last Zin, trying them side-by-side utilizes the tricks of the experts to find which wines you want to take home.
