2009 Laurel Glen Vineyard Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

In Stock
"Deep Ruby. Intense, smoke and spice accented dark fruit and licorice scents are enlivened by a sexy floral nuance. Chewy, penetrating cherry and cassis flavors show impressive depth and power and pick up a cola note with air. Dusty tannins give grip to a long, sweet, focused finish. This Cabernet, which is now made under the oversight of David Ramey, should age slowly and gracefully." - Josh Raynolds, Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

Tasting Notes
"Beautifully dense deep purple color, and a classic cassis nose with notes of black pepper, cherry liqueur, rose petal and vanilla make for a very refined and seductive first impression. On the palate the flavor is mouth filling but nuanced, with a pleasant astringency. The tannins are fine and the finish is quite refreshing, yet long and multi-layered, beginning with black currant and ending with red cherry and pepper." - Larry Stone, MS
